HUNTINGDON BOROUGH POLICE HAVE FILED A CRIMINAL COMPLAINT AGAINST 40 YEAR OLD SHANNON ERB OF HUNTINGDON, CHARGES INCLUDING ATTEMPTED MURDER OF A POLICE OFFICER. IN AN INTERVIEW WITH BOROUGH POLICE ERB ADMITTED TO SEEKING A GUN SO SHE COULD KILL AN OFFICER WITH WHOM SHE HAD BECOME INFATUATED WITH AND WAS UPSET BECAUSE ACCORDING TO ERB THE OFFICER DIDN’T RETURN THE FEELINGS. ERB WAS ARRAIGNED MONDAY, BAIL WAS DENIED.

A 28 YEAR OLD ALTOONA MAN, DANE VICARS IS FACING 70 FELONY COUNTS AFTER HE IS ALLEGED TO HAVE SOLICITED PICTURES FROM UNDERAGE GIRLS POSING AS A LESBIAN. VICARS IS FREE ON BOND.

AN AREA OF HYNDMAN WITH ABOUT 30 HOUSES IS STILL OFF LIMITS TO RESIDENTS AS WORK CONTINUES BURN OFF REMAINING CHEMICALS AND LIQUIDS FROM DERAILED TANKER CARS, AS WELL CLEANING UP GRAIN WHICH SPILLED IN LAST WEDNESDAY’S DERAILMENT.
