WORK WILL CONTINUE THIS WEEK IN HARRISBURG IN AN ATTEMPT TO REACH A DEAL ON FINDING THE FUNDS TO COVER A SHORT FALL IN PENNSYLVANIA’S 2017-18 BUDGET WHICH BECAME LAW LAST WEEK.

37-YEAR OLD JAMES MORRISSEY OF TYRONE IS FACING CRIMINAL CHARGES AFTER THREATENING TO SET HIMSELF ON FIRE ALONG WITH HIS CAMPER. THE MAN ALSO ATTEMPTED TO POUR GASOLINE OF PENNSYLVANIA STATE POLICE TROOPERS.

STATE COLLEGE POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING THE SEXUAL ASSAULT OF A WOMAN SUNDAY ON SOUTH ATHERTON STREET. THE VICTIM TOLD POLICE SHE WAS PUSHED INTO SOME BUSHES BY THE MAN AND WAS ASSAULTED. THE SUSPECT IS DESCRIBED AS 6-FOOT TALL, WEIGHING AROUND 220 POUNDS WITH SHORT DARK HAIR. HE SPOKE WITH A SPANISH ACCENT.
