NO VERDICT YET IN BILL COSBY’S TRIAL. THE JURY IN THE SEXUAL ASSAULT TRIAL OF BILL COSBY HELD ANOTHER 12 HOURS OF DELIBERATIONS TUESDAY BEFORE CALLING IT A DAY, THEIR SECOND DAY OF DELIBERATIONS. THEY WILL BE BACK AT IT THIS MORNING AT THE MONTGOMERY COUNTY COURTHOUSE IN NORRISTOWN.

ALTOONA CITY COUNCIL YESTERDAY FIRED ALTOONA POLICE SGT. MATTHEW STARR. STARR WAS CHARGED LAST MONTH WITH 10 FELONY COUNTS. STARR IS ALLEGED TO HAVE CASH CHECKS INTENDED FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT FOR HIS PERSONAL USE, AMONG OTHER SCHEMES TO COVER HIS GAMBLING DEBT.

JOHNSTOWN BASED GALLIKER’S DAIRY HAS LAID OFF 11 OF IT 85 FARMERS FROM IT’S DAIRY PRODUCTION. WHILE FARMERS ARE PRODUCING MORE MILK, GALLIKER’S MILK SALES HAVE BEEN ON THE DECLINE CREATING A HUGE SURPLUS FOR THE DAIRY.
