JURY SELECTION IS SCHEDULE TO BEGIN IN HARRISBURG TODAY FOR THE TRIAL OF FORMER PENN STATE PRESIDENT GRAHAM SPANIER WHO FACES THREE FELONY COUNTS RELATED TO THE COVER UP OF CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE BY JERRY SANDUSKY. FORMER PENN STATE ATHLETIC DIRECTOR TIM CURLEY AND FORMER PENN STATE VICE-PRESIDENT GARY SHULTZ COULD BE CALLED TO TESTIFY. BOTH THOSE MEN ENTERED GUILTY PLEAS LAST WEEK.

AT PENN STATE’S MAIN CAMPUS THEY ARE INVESTIGATING NEARLY 50 CASES OF MUMPS, 23 OF THEM CONFIRMED. WITH THE NUMBER OF CASES ON THE RISE THE UNIVERSITY HEALTH SERVICES WILL BE OFFERING THE MMR VACCINE TO STUDENTS THIS THURSDAY IN ALUMNI HALL AT THE HUB FROM 10AM TO 4PM

THOSE TWO CHILDREN WHO SUFFERED BURNS AFTER DRINKING A CAUSTIC SUBSTANCE AT A LANCASTER COUNTY RESTAURANT HAVE BEEN RELEASED FROM THE HERSHEY MEDICAL CENTER. THE INVESTIGATION INTO THE SOURCE OF THE SUBSTANCE CONTINUES. THE INJURIES OCCURRED AFTER THE CHILDREN DRANK APPLE JUICE.
