The Juniata County Industrial Development Authority has been awarded a $2 million state grant to undertake an expansion of the Juniata County Industrial Park, according to State Senator Jake Corman (R-34).  Corman said the current Industrial Park is almost filled to capacity, with only four small lots available. Expansion of the industrial park into an adjoining lot will allow for 12 additional spaces to accommodate new tenants.  The grant will be used to purchase approximately 59 acres of land adjacent to the current industrial park in order to develop and expand necessary infrastructure.  The funds are from the state’s Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RCAP).
