Our recent Winter weather has serious thoughts of days at the beach running through my mind. Does your mind drift to thoughts of the Summer ahead? Myrtle Beach is a favorite spot of mine. The beach, Broadway at the Beach and all the tourist traps and eateries. But I also like the south Jersey shoreline. Cape May tops the list. Now this may not be the place for a traditional family vacation if you have young ones. But if you like a laidback vacation served up with enough Victorian Gingerbread architecture for your eyes to feast upon for days, then this is the place. I enjoy my memories and the great pleasure of Christmas in Cape May. Wildwood, New Jersey is getting some serious consideration for an extended visit this Summer. I still love the excitement, thrills and food along the boardwalk. I love playing chicken with the tramcars. “Watch the Tramcar please.” I stand between the yellow lines which designate the boardwalk operating path of the tramcar, which earns repeated plays of the “Watch the Tramcar please” warning. So in between NCAA basketball games and March Madness this weekend I see myself spending time surfing the web and making a decision on some Summertime Fun. Jeff Speck reminding you to: Watch the Tramcar please.
